Residents of Kajiado Central and its environs have benefitted from a four-day (28th – 31st July 2022) medical camp offering eye cataract surgeries organized by the Rotary Club of Nairobi Thika Road in partnership with AIC Kajiado Child care.
The Rotary Club of Nairobi Thika Road, with support from a TRF District Grant, partnered with AIC Kajiado Childcare Centre and the Kajiado County Department of Health to provide the eye cataract surgeries at a significantly subsidized cost making treatment of eye cataract affordable to the community.
The event was graced by the District Governor DG Azeb Asrat where she thanked Rotarians for their dedication and service to humanity and urged them to continue with these impactful projects. DG Azeb also thanked the medical staff and AIC Kajiado Childcare for their dedication and efforts in offering treatment to the patients.
