Transforming Kanyangasi Primary School: Construction of Ablution Block and Water Reticulation System

In the heart of Kabuoch village, Ndhiwa constituency, Homabay County, lies Kanyangasi Primary School, where the vibrant energy of children is met with the challenge of inadequate sanitation facilities. For years, students and teachers grappled with poorly maintained pit latrines that posed health risks and disrupted learning. The absence of proper washrooms particularly affected older girls, who often missed school during their menstrual cycles. Addressing this long-standing issue became a priority for the school, and its headmaster, Mr. Duncan, sought external support to improve the situation.
