On a bright and vibrant Saturday, members of the Rotary Club of Nairobi Thika Road gathered at the serene Canaville Resort in Juja for a special team-building retreat. It wasn’t just an escape from the routine—it was a celebration of fellowship, laughter, and the powerful connections that make our Rotary family thrive.

Set against the lush backdrop of the resort, the day unfolded with engaging team-building activities that not only brought out our competitive sides but also reminded us of the value of collaboration, support, and trust. We learned, laughed, and leaned into each other—not just as Rotarians, but as friends and teammates working toward a shared purpose.

As the sun warmed the grounds, so did the camaraderie among members. Whether it was through playful games, hearty meals, or the rhythmic beats that led us to the dance floor, the day was a vivid reminder of why we serve together. The joy and laughter were contagious, and by evening, the event had transformed into a lively celebration that continued well into the night.

This experience was more than just fun—it was care in action. As a Rotary family, we believe in taking care of one another, and this team-building day was a beautiful reflection of that. Members left with full hearts, closer bonds, and a renewed spirit to serve.

We are reminded that beyond our impactful projects, moments like these are essential. They sustain the heart of Rotary. We encourage such gatherings to happen from time to time, to keep the Rotary spirit of togetherness, joy, and service alive.

Here’s to many more days of unity, celebration, and shared purpose.
